don't you just love when a company doesn't give you the information that they should? especially when it is reguarding health information? so the information I have been trying to find about Libre sensors reguarding when your sensorss 15 days start is not clear at all! in fact, it is as useful as tits on a bull! well, between me, and claude running very spasific tests, we have confermed when the sensors timer starts for the 15 days. it doesn't start after the warm up period. it starts the second you scan the sensor. now we are trying to find out when or how often the libre app uploads the data to the libre view site, so when you get the .csv file, you know that current readings are there. again, libre's documentation is about as useful as tits on a bull! it just says it requires an internet connection. well no shit sherlock! thank you captain obvious! so right now I am trying to see if there is a way to figure this information out.

@JamminJerry I'm assuming you're using a Libre 3+ sensor? If so, the Libre app, at least on iOS, sends a reading to their servers every minute. I actually wrote a program last year which can query a service which I think is called Libre LinkUp. You have to do some setup first, including installing the Libre LinkUp app on your phone, using the Libre app to invite yourself to monitor your glucose through LinkUp, then use the LinkUp app to accept the invitation. But then, this little program can query the LinkUp system and get your current glucose reading as well as a log of readings over the past twelve hours, approximately every five minutes. I haven't released this anywhere since it uses a publicly undocumented API.

@JamminJerry Also, your sensor end time is not influenced by daylight saving time. For example, start a sensor at 3:15 PM, then within those fifteen days fall back to Standard Time, and your sensor will end at 2:15 PM on the final day.

@jaybird110127 yep yep. I am learning all this stuff while designing my app. smile. as far as uploading every minute, that isn't true with the libre view web site where you get the csv files. I had the app open to look at my sugar, and there was no log uploaded. sure the readings will be there when it does finally upload, but there has got to be a way to figure out when it actually uploads.

@JamminJerry Well what's probably happening is that the Libre servers only take your collected readings and create the CSV every so often. The Libre app, at least on iOS, definitely sends every reading to the Libre servers as soon as it gets it, the app I wrote proves it.
