Nov 4, 2026, 9:52 PMAlways like getting the email from Apple saying 'Congratulations' when an app update goes live. For just a second I can pretend I'm a real developer.

Tech Singertechsinger@tweesecake.socialNov 4, 2026, 10:01 PM@FreakyFwoof You're obviously not a real developer. Clipman hasn't crashed anytime in recent memory and taken my stuff with it. Seriously, though, you're more of a real developer than most if judged by the usefulness of the product as opposed to if judged by the credit card bills to customers.

@FreakyFwoof It has to lose data, the losing data is important :)

@techsinger @FreakyFwoof Andre you are the shizel in everything you do and always have been! :-) What the heck is a real dev anyway? You've given more to not just the Blind community but the web and world in general than most could even hope to do and you're a brilliant dad and husband on top of it! :-)

@goldberry @techsinger Thanks man, I just enjoy being able to give back a little something.

@FreakyFwoof You are a real developer. You’re just using different tools.

@technocounselor @FreakyFwoof Scream it, girl. Louder, and from the rooftop.
Nov 4, 2026, 10:59 PM@FreakyFwoof Well, you are, at least in my book! I don't think the tools or approach you use define whether you're a real developer. It's all about finding the right means to achieve your goals, and if you're building software, I'd say that makes you a developer!

@Reza Thank you. I do want to be taken seriously and make useful things, or I call it, author them. I don't make, I idea them.
Harmony SeekerHarmonthSeeker@caneandable.socialNov 5, 2026, 1:27 AM@FreakyFwoof How do you do it in away that others don't?
- Andre LouisFreakyFwoof@universeodon.comNov 5, 2026, 6:03 AM
@HarmonthSeeker In what sense?
