I'm trying to watch a hockey game. Get Mark Sutcliffe and his I swear AI-generated commercial the hell off my TV. #Ottawa

Anyone working for #Aira or know someone who does who happens to have an IT or security contact they can put me in touch with? One of Aira's employees might have a compromised email account. At the very least, Aira's email infrastructure is compromised.

Update: I was able to get in touch with Aira Security. This is now their issue, plus whoever they annoy about this issue.

Apple not signing the OS build after September 23 does not automatically mean you will upgrade to iOS 27 on September 24th. That just means you have two weeks to try it and decide you don't like it. If your intention is not to install 27 until the things you don't like about it are fixed, you can absolutely do that. That is what I'm currently doing.

My solution to the iOS 27 bugs yall are experiencing is to wait until Apple forces me to update, which it's not doing today. By the time I get poked with the update we'll be on a .1 or .2 varient and some or most of the bugs yall are talking about will be squished. So, uh, thanks for jumping on the bandwagon on day 1 I guess.

Hey guys? Context. What was the problem? Otherwise... I don't know if I'm still experiencing it. LOL

I have spent about 3 hours more than the 0 hours I was planning to spend fixing my internet. It may or may not still be broken. But there is alcohol and I have pizza, so I'm taking that win, dammit.

That also means you and I are related. Sure, you gotta go way back, but like... family's family. LOL

So apparently Ottawa now has at least one Papa John's location that'll deliver to me. I've never had them before. Someone give me 3 reasons why I should and what I should try. I'm looking almost specifically at @Bruce.

I have absolutely no idea what they're doing to the floor in the apartment above me, but I don't usually require a headset when I use this machine. I do now.

#Ottawa's power grid is made of glass and held together with duct tape. Evidently in #Nepean, they forgot the duct tape.

If you don't know what the streaming API is, or if your client hits it, then I probably fixed a problem you didn't realize you were having. Yes I'm that good. #MastoAdmin

So. Streaming on the instance was broken for a couple days because your instance admin failed to realize that yes, sometimes software that will happily sit still and do nothing for nearly 3 years still wakes up and decides it needs an update. If you want technical details I can share them, but the short version is if your client hits the streaming API, it can now officially do that again. #MastoAdmin

Google: We've fixed more chrome bugs in June than we have the previous 2 years thanks to AI!

Me: Ah... so that's why my screen reader can't remember where the hell it left off on a webpage now.

Guys, if you wanted me to switch to Firefox, just say so.

To the average blind person? Probably not. To your prospective guide dog school? Evidently.

Just in case you might be tired of checking the news, I can promise you that this post contains absolutely 0 news content. Unfortunately, it contains nothing else of any value either, so you've still wasted 30 seconds. Sorry. Can't help that.

Or, in other words, Microsoft has realized that the Windows 11 adoption is not going as swimmingly as they'd prefer it to. We've seen this movie before.

There are three sides to every story. Your side, their side, and the truth. Unless one of you goes by six different names, then there are eight sides.

My phone says there's lightning in the area. Some of my social peoples are saying thunder. I did see some rain earlier. I think between all of us we might be able to put together a complete thunderstorm. #Ottawa
