What's the deal with the NVDA battery status readout? sometimes it seems to work and sometimes not. sometimes it's just completely silent. I've seen this behavior before but for the life of me I can't work out why it does it. Anyone else have an idea?

@ednun_p Could it be your keyboard? I've had multiple keyboards not register certain NVDA commands that include Shift. Otherwise I'd check the log.

@ednun_p Always triggers here. Allow me to remind you of Sensor Readout and you could set a hotkey just to read battery status there.
An option for those times stuff doesn't work.
Of course SR could give you more than that, like discharge, whether AC is connected or not, anyway, you know the drill.

@FreakyFwoof yeah so the reason I was specifically trying to get it to work was so that I could update the NVDA remote speech control ad on so that it reads the laptop battery whilst in a remote desktop session. which it does now. but very weird an external keyboard doesn't seem to make the battery read.
