Operating a #CloudService that really respects #privacy is complicated: #GDPR forbids storing personal data (incl. IP addresses) that's not strictly required. Consequently, the website of my @ChronoLink service never logs IP addresses. As all hosters I knew do that, I had to self host. But a separate server is wasteful/cumbersome, and sharing one with the service itself is risky. 😕

As of last Saturday, I have a solution: let https://www.statichost.eu/ host it. Thanks @puresick for suggesting them!
