Day two: pile of fluffy creatures.

#drawtober

Kinda want to do something low-pressure, just fill 1 square a day, drawing what comes to mind kind of thing ^^... the kind of drawing i might do while chatting on the phone.

For #drawtober I’ll be making little 5x5cm drawings where the drawing fills all or most of the space. The goal in the end would be to have 31 little square drawings that I can display next to each other like little intricate tiles.

Like, it was a proper knot. I had to loop a length of chain around the anchor to undo it XD.... was tricky.

I know how chain knots happen, this is a first for us, but not sure why we couldn't raise the anchor :/.

We had a weird thing happen this morning when lifting the anchor.

The chain was pointing straight down from the very beginning. I couldn't pull the anchor up by hand like I usually do, so we used a cockpit winch, but it was damn difficult (lots of weight on the line).

I was forward at the bow and could feel something rattling, possibly sliding off the chain as we lifted it gradually. We thought maybe the chain was caught on something? I expected us to pull something up, but then, when we finally freed the chain we found this...

A lovely chain knot!

Not really sure what happened 😅

Found a very good Wikipedia article: a list of famous individual trees. Having fun reading through the numerous entries.

Little Ninj Rabbit so teeny!

Sy is for sure on my laptop ^^ (*siiiiiigh*)

We received the rabbit stickers! They came out so nice :uxn:

Just assembled a page on my personal website with instructions on how to disable AI features across many services(mainly ones I encounter/use, will surely have to add more to the list soon).

https://kokorobot.ca/site/remove_ai.html

Dev & I don't use any of Patreon's features. We also don't always read up on all of the garbage that they keep adding.

Their latest feature is a sort of autopilot which allows them to promote your creator account for you, by sending backers emails, to ask them to upgrade their pledge...

Neither of us knew this thing existed. Why the fuck is this sort of thing not opt-in only?! Sorry to those that got emails mentioning offers from our account :/... we've deactivated them all now.

It took me a little longer than expected, but I completed the Rabbit Waves page for Morse Code!

Below is an illustration for the sub-page about signaling Morse with flags.

With this project, I get to draw all of my favorite sea birds ^____^...

Currently putting together a page on "communicating in Morse Code" for Rabbit Waves.

It'll be done before the end of the month. In the meantime, here are some very adorable rabbit dits and dahs.

Devine: "You know, you could have just spelled 'waves'. I mean, there's already a rabbit."
Me: :neofox_think_owo: "Why didn't I think of that..."

Spelling with flags.

Added a page on Rabbit Waves about using Day Shapes to communicate to other vessels during daylight hours.

Flying the N and C signal flags together communicates distress, as does flying a square flag and a ball shape.

https://rabbitwaves.ca/site/day_shapes.html

The first two pages available cover how to communicate using the International Code of Signals, and flag semaphore.
