can a force be said to have modes? i want to say something akin to Spinoza's attributes of substance, but have it be a modification/aspect of a force (action), not a substance (being). (ultimately the sense i want to convey is: all salvos in the one battle, but say this ontologically.)

if not, can a force be said to have something similar?

I think the concept you are looking for is field. Fields are pretty close to a Spinozan substance and already conceived as a form of appearance of associated forces.
And fields have attributes, I would say.
