It's been a while since I've talked about OmniForm. I've been quietly working away on the core plugin and thinking ahead to a future premium service.
The plugin is completely free.
Download it from the #WordPress Plugin Directory: https://wordpress.org/plugins/omniform/
Right now I'm building v2. It adds a nice overview dashboard so you can see how your forms are performing, along with cleaner views for managing forms and responses.
I've also been tightening things up under the hood for better security and reliability.
That includes raising the minimum requirements to WordPress 7.0 and PHP 8.2+.
Also, several new fields are coming: Color Picker, Range/Slider, File Upload, and a Username/Email field that works great for custom login pages.
I'm really happy with how it's shaping up. The goal is to keep it simple, solid, and built right into the Block Editor experience.
If you're using the Block Editor and need forms, give OmniForm a spin and let me know what you think. What features would you love to see next?
