My friend Tracy, of Geek Boutique, is doing a Kickstarter for their upcoming book, The Adventures of Derek and Irene.

Derek the Stegosaurus and Irene the Parasaurolophus are two dinosaur best friends who explore the world with curiosity, friendship, and a healthy amount of shenanigans.

JFC America, specifically Tennessee, if you keep a woman on death row for 30 years, eventually decided to murder her, then fail twice, taking her to hospital rather than just shooting her shows how ridiculous your capital punishment system really is.

I’m not saying they *should* have killed her more effectively, but that you can’t humanely kill someone as a form of punishment.

When a tour gets cancelled you take work away from the drivers, sound engineers, stage crew, caterers, security, lighting engineers, merch staff and many, many more. They're not salaried, they're paid hourly.

Macklemore was never gonna get to play, either he was dropped or the remaining US tour dates would be cancelled. This does the least damage to all the other people.

What Sheeran should, but didn't, do is vocally support Macklemore. That's what he's done wrong here, in my opinion.

Right, I have thoughts on the whole Sheeran/Macklemore shit show.

First, Robert Kraft is a twat for starting it all by putting pressure on the venues to bar Macklemore from playing.

The promoter (who runs the tour,not the headline artist) dropped them from the remaining dates on the US tour as a consequence. The promoter could have dug their heels in and refused, but that would have meant cancelling the shows, which would have a huge knock-on effect.
