Well, I'm still shaking a bit. I let the dogs out and the Dire Terrier found a raccoon trying to get over the fence and out of the yard. Didn't realize what was happening at first. I heard this weird, loud growl/hiss and then Terrier growls. It would try to back down the outside of the fence and she'd grab a paw through the fence. It would climb back to the top. I kept pushing it back with a hoe. The big guy went right on the porch when I said "leave it". She kept at it for a bit. It's gone now.
