It seems I need to go to the store for cheese. If I don't have it after the dog's dinners, they'll say they have to go out every 10 minutes, until they receive their cheese..

Don't buy Ritz crackers if there are peanut allergies. Mine were contaminated with peanut butter. Please share for those with peanut allergies

Bread and circuses in this economy?

The 2 persimmon trees are planted. As a reward, I ordered a couple small red rocket crepe myrtles. I'll patio block the persimmon tomorrow. Everything is planted, so it's time to take apart the vegetable garden. Harvested peppers, tomatoes, and potatoes for the final harvest.

I'm so tired that everything is stupid. Time for bed

I didn't get as much done as I'd wanted, but a couple of crepe myrtles are in the ground and bordered with block. Tomorrow- 4 blueberries, another crepe myrtle and a pawpaw go in the ground. I'll hope to plant 2 persimmon trees too, but we'll see. I don't need to border any of it, except the persimmon. The others are going in a 10'x30' bed, currently empty.

My way to avoid weed whacking. 3 done and a bunch more to go. I'm done for the day.

The emergency meeting of the napping committee ran a bit long, but I feel the goals were accomplished.

My biggest fantasy. Under the next administration, the US joins the ICC and hands over this entire administration and ICE employees. Perhaps the funding for the trials and new prisons as well.

Onions sautéed, tomato diced, ground beef browned, beans cooked, and all in the slow cooker with my blend of chili spices. Can't wait.

Just wanted to say that y'all are wonderful.

Lovely day. Time to work in the yard.

A little cayenne pepper makes the bean soup even better.

Planted 21 allium and have 8 left. Had some double bullbs that split. 😁

25 tulip bulbs planted. 25 daffodil bulbs planted. 25 giant allium to go.

Still jittery. Between the terrier fighting the raccoon last night and the school bus accident today, my nerves are wired. Everything/everyone seem okay, but the moment of the boom and the minute of the fight..... still with me

Not today Satan

Well, I'm still shaking a bit. I let the dogs out and the Dire Terrier found a raccoon trying to get over the fence and out of the yard. Didn't realize what was happening at first. I heard this weird, loud growl/hiss and then Terrier growls. It would try to back down the outside of the fence and she'd grab a paw through the fence. It would climb back to the top. I kept pushing it back with a hoe. The big guy went right on the porch when I said "leave it". She kept at it for a bit. It's gone now.

I've accomplished less than anticipated today, so I'll just have a nap.
