@screwturn Well the polyamory answer is, I assume: "It depends what my other partners already provide" :-D
(As far as I know, I am not myself poly)
@rvedotrc @screwturn I love this answer. (I’ve been poly in the past, but currently barely have enough spoons for one relationship. 😂)
@lydiaschoch @rvedotrc @screwturn
Do you believe it's possible to love multiple people at the same time? If so, you're poly.
Doesn't mean you have the desire or tools to participate in a relationship with multiple partners, but does mean you're poly.

Many poly people only have one partner, either through circumstance or lack of spoons for more.
Also, loving 1 person who has a partner isn't very different from a monogamous relationship with someone with a deep friendship.
Poly people don't stop being poly when they only have one partner, because they don't stop believing it's possible to love multiple people or love someone who loves another too.

@screwturn Assuming not choosing "kind" means a ruthless partner, I am wondering who would want that.
@uncanny_static
I, too, found it ambiguous.
Kind as in "compliments children on their drawings?" Kind as in "fights fascism?" Kind as in "pretends my cooking is good?"
Sorry, not a woman, but can't retract my vote.
(my vote wouldn't make a difference)

FYI: the reason is that 'woman' was displayed in another colour because it was a hashtag. Apparently my brain first processes the black text.
@paulschoe @screwturn Oof me too. Wow. I missed that. I think my eyes glazed over the entire first line due to the hashtag.
So sorry, not a woman, shouldn’t have voted :(
I think my brain (correctly) assumes that hashtags are less important than the actual message.
So I first process the appeal to vote, and only after that, the hashtag.
@paulschoe @josh @screwturn Me too! I wonder if placing the hashtags in the end (as some people recommend) would have reduced this issue a bit.
I should ask my wife what she would choose. Although I would be surprised if she choose anything but what I chose because I guess this pool answers are a lot biased as kindness is what most people would expect from any human interaction (partner or otherwise). Remove kindness from the options and the results would be more interesting.
@gustavo
I want to be super transparent: I do this myself sometimes, I'd just never experienced (or at least, noticed before) skipping over main text by accident.
@screwturn I didn’t vote but I like the results so far
