We have an external audit today, so the normally-calm Chatty Manager is doing that absolutely infuriating thing of talking out loud the things he needs to be in place - things that I can do - so that I do them. He's not outright asking me to, but he asking me enough vague questions that I know that's what he's angling towards. And it's all simple stuff, but it's a decent pile of simple stuff which is distracting me from the thing I'm actually trying to do.
For example; for some reason we have two copies of our site induction in our Google drive, a situation of which I was not aware. So I've been updating the wrong one it seems. The one I've been updating is in the ./Inductions folder, the one he's pointed the QR code at is in /home.
Rather than simply copy the updated one into the correct location, he's tapping away at it on his PC and commenting on how it's the wrong one.
He has access to the same folders I do, and better access to what it is he wants to do, so why doesn't he just fucking do it instead of chunter on about how Things Are Wrong.
