Petra van CronenburgNatureMC@mastodon.onlineAug 26, 2026, 3:10 PM@patrickhadfield It's so important! Several of my older colleages (about 70) had shingles in a very bad, extremely painful way. One now has chronic nerves pain, and there's no therapy yet against these pains.
(I read a study that since Covid the number of shingles is increasing but I can't say how good that study was.)
Nevertheless, that will be my next vaccination!
