@nasamuffin ah yes, the end user, still blissfully unaware of what's coming

every time I draw a system diagram that has an end user in it I give the user icon a smiley face because I believe in manifesting positive energy

one more git history poll: do you have an alias for a fancy `git log` or `git log —graph` incantation that I use to view your Git history?

also share it below if you’d like!

@MOULE

Four shalt be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be four. Five shalt thou not count, nor either count thou three, excepting that thou then proceed to four. Six is right out. Once the number four, being the fourth number, be reached, then, lobbest thou thy Private Key of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in My sight, shall snuff it.

@Viss just ordered my new workout gear

Finally we have created the random number "4" from the famous XKCD strip "do not just make your random number 4"

actually, 4 is a very hard to guess number, and is secure from modern attacks

today i am finding joy in the little things by boosting every 4 meme i find in the tl #selfcare

Played Pump for the first time in like a year. One cracked A and 3 or 4 blue As, and a pair of shoulders who forgot which muscles hold up a dancegaming person on the bar. Not bad imo. #PumpItUpXX #RhythmGaming

this was a horrible idea on account of when you stretch your arm, your skin touches the ear cup and your music just ...stops playing? so dumb. anyway that and the dedicated phone voice assistant button both have gone by the wayside so now I just have to contend with "no i don't want you to pause because I took one ear out" which is easily solved by just buying the less posh ones

three or four years ago i thought i lost the headphones (got to coffeeshop, backpack was open, couldn't find headphones, turned out they were just that buried in the bottom of my bag but i didn't find them for like a week) and bought a replacement pair that had touch controls on the ear cup. Like, tap the ear cup to play/pause/skip

also it appears that in the intervening years the over ear wireless headphone industry has gone through multiple fads i have had no interest in and now are again on a fairly steady state feature set

My 8+ year old wireless headphones finally bit the dust (unrepairable structural damage on a part that i can't find replacements for in my pair's color) so I think it's finally time for new ones and I'm honestly kinda heartbroken
