Democracy is not something we inherit. It is something we protect, election by election, vote by vote. Early voting is already open in many states and Election Day is just 18 days away.

First, make sure you are registered. Then check your state’s early voting dates at the link, make your plan, and show up. The stakes have never been higher and we cannot afford to sit this one out. Pass this along and let’s make sure everyone we know is ready to vote. https://www.vote.org/early-voting-calendar/

The White House was caught limiting Ukraine’s Starshield access. Trump’s newest press secretary came and went. And the DOJ raided a sitting congresswoman’s home in what could be an attempt to strip her of her citizenship. This is the week we are living in. Make sure you’re paying attention. https://thinkbigpicture.substack.com/p/october-16-weekly-news-roundup

“Go ahead, Vera … treat me like dirt.”

For me, so far, the "AI revolution" means I'm spending way more time freeze-framing video to screen grab so I can studiously copy whatever the person is doing, so I can then go "oh THAT'S why this works!" instead of it like, just being a file in the comments, because if it was AI would snarfle it up

Now does a consumer car remotely need that? Lol, no. But whatever, showman gonna showman, so he had his people gank that and stick the auto-righting landing system from one of their rockets to a car and there you go, razzle dazzle party trick.

But he's still a stupid fascist prick, so who cares.

Learning today that a lot of people didn't know cars could stick to things and drive upside down.

They can. That isn't AI but also fascist Bro didn't invent that. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/McMurtry_Sp%C3%A9irling

It's for aero. It counter the lift caused by wind going under a car at speed and it's scary effective.
