So RIP Deno… They are stopping work on the runtime over the next 12 months.
I was hoping that we could some day have a Node.js alternative with a more modern interface/tooling, but with this and Bun now being part of Anthropic and vibe-(re)coded to the extreme, it does not seem it will happen.

… and I was quite right to be doubtful of the longevity of those 2 at the start, they both raised money and I could not see how they could continue to exists long-term and keep their investors happy.

We're making the Cloudflare developer platform the best place to run JavaScript, anywhere.

Big step toward that today: the Deno team is joining us to build what’s next.

An API bug cropped up earlier where users trying to add feeds behind CloudFlare’s proxy would return an error.

This has now been fixed and deployed.

Ahem! @pockity is finally close to not only being optimised for the Duo, it also now includes new things which fit just right for a whole new "idiom" Apple has introduced.

I struggled with thinking about the device for almost 2 weeks until it finally clicked for me two days ago.

If you're writing about apps for the Duo, drop me a DM.

PS: This is just a teaser 😉

Does this still work for folks running the RC? I can’t seem to get it working at all now.

Even the workarounds mentioned in the thread do not work. I had gotten it running during Beta 1 using the two commands @stroughtonsmith mentions in his post.

MY Fing GOODNESS

👏🏼🙇🏽‍♂️🤩

Oh boy, it gets worse. We can't use simctl to record both screens simultaneously.

And when recording, the outer display (folded) recording will start with P3 profile, and then the inner display records in sRGB.

Should I just give up? The tooling itself is broken 😞

@rlfb Hi there! With the latest beta, I’ve noticed a glitch when swiping from the edge of the screen to go back.

Anyone else having issues with DeviceHub (Xcode 27.1 RC) recording Duo display when it folds and unfolds?

Depending on the pose I start with, the next pose just renders black.

cool fuckin exfil vector annotated explicitly as POSSIBLY DANGEROUS in the strings that appear to be a bundled threat assessment of every api route served by the hatch binary. why bother reporting things that are explicitly described in bug bounty categories when the entire fucking product is this way

one of the things that is available without any user approval is importing emails into gmail - https://github.com/sneakers-the-rat/muse-skills/blob/77754880226c2f93357176ca97f7d1152cb47a8a/skills/gmail/manifest.yaml#L198

Directly inserts a message into only this user's mailbox similar to IMAP APPEND, bypassing most scanning and classification.

So an attacker can just directly phish you into your inbox with an email that looks like it's coming directly from an official domain. awesome! I'll test this and update this post with the result once network egress is restored - it's been down for hours, not sure if just for me or across all muse instances.

I hadn't connected any accounts to muse until now, so I hooked up a test Instagram account just to check, and every connector allows read actions from binaries that can be called from within the VM by any process with no confirmation required. I'm not going to even bother reporting this because I am sure this is intended behavior - its just in plaintext in the skills manifests.

So all that shit about your credentials being in a secure vault does not matter because you just get free read access from within the VM anyway! This includes your Instagram DMs, slack messages, your emails, box and Dropbox files, google docs, google contacts, all your fucking apple health readings, your flightaware flight histories, notion pages, fucking quickbooks data (!!!), your Tesla car data, and so many more fun things!

What's fun is that some of the no confirmation needed actions are write actions too! You don't even need a clever exfil route, muse just gives it to you via your own connected accounts!

pssst hey

I really like most airline safety videos and this one from Uzbekistan airways is so fun

My favourite burger joint went into crazy expansion mode and completely sacrificed quality.

The next viable option raised their prices by ₹200 flat on all burgers.

I am now burgerless 🥲

Also live with this release for the #iOS AppStore, new app previews, produced using the same workflow and pipeline I used to make the How-To videos for Youtube

There’s a new release of Pockity for both #iOS and #macOS available on the #AppStore.

This was originally slated to release alongside the iPhone Duo later this month, but I managed to make numerous fixes and improvements while recording the promo videos, I thought I should release these without delay.

Coca is an app for Mac, that keeps it awake. Not only that you can check in from any other Apple platform, like your Watch or iPhone. Of course it supports closed lid mode. This update brings Mac unlock, volume and brightness control as well!
