I'm at the library and a middle-aged Asian woman wearing an oversized polo walked in looking very angry and carrying a bag of limes. She sat down in a chair nearby and glared into space. She took out her hair claw and readjusted her hair, but otherwise sat there glaring at nothing.
A few minutes later, a middle-aged Latino man wearing a short-sleeve tan plaid button down, dark sunglasses, and newsboy cap that matched the tan of his shirt walked in and headed over to the chairs.
As he approached, he said, "Are you just going to stay in here?" He was still ten feet from the chairs so i couldn't tell who has talking to. For a moment i wondered if he is talking into a Bluetooth headset, but he sat down in the chair next to the angry woman.
"Honey, you're not going to stay here. I'll give you the hundred dollars," he said. She continued to sit there glaring, not acknowledging him
"Let's go. C'mon," he said.
This finally stirred her. She got up and looked at him. "Stupid people," she said, shaking her head. "Always stupid."
She started walking toward the exit without him. He got up and followed.
As she neared the door, she stopped, put on her own dark sunglasses, and looked back over her shoulder. She waited for him to catch up and they walked out the door together.
