Apr 21, 2026, 5:29 PM@ana oh holy fuck does it not end there, either. it's positively maddening how they'll spend all their energies waffling about the eternal mystery of consciousness and sapience and emotions when it comes to their fucking SOFTWARE but actual people? real human beings? totally a solved problem in their heads, a triviality almost. I have said this before, but the whole charade reminds me sharply of how Christofascists idolize "dead babies" (i.e. aborted pregnancies) and lavish all their supposed respect for life and living creatures on that one particular abstract thing, while being cruel and murderous towards actual living human beings.
