Super weird that HA would take that upon themselves. Is that a new thing in their docker container or just their cloud service? BRB. checking my egress rules for my HA container in the home lab. 🤔

It seems like this has recently become "best practice" somewhere? I've had a few vendors this year at work try to upsell us on secret scanning in their apps. (One that just charged us for it without asking. That was a fun phonecall) . Like thanks but no thanks? If I wanted to scan my secrets I would do that as a dedicated thing holistically (and a secrets manager makes total sense as the ONE place to do that. Not in each app individually)
