If you are running Trixie on a touchscreen system, and find that it crashes if you suspend while touching the screen, I think I have a fix. (This crash happens when the touchscreen encoder detaches during suspend. I get this on the Chuwi Hi10 X1, which also has a peculiar LVDS arrangement that DRM whines about).
In libmutter's meta-wayland-touch.c, comment out line 544. That's it.

The truly dumb part is this could have just been a lua patch. But, koreader doesn't load patches for the fdroid build. And, the patching system is a bit of a nightmare to figure out.
If anybody is so inclined, here's my patched make of Koreader.apk. Just a tweak to make the Kobo page turner work nicer.
It discards key repeat events (which will occasionally go nuts on BT). It also makes the up/down arrow more of a first-class page turn command (why doesn't the dongle send pgup/pgdn?).

This is the first time I've seen any suggestion that goes all the way to attaching a picture. I thought it could only do "text" or "emojis that are just ordinary unicode characters"?

I cannot use an external screen and the deck's own speakers anymore. It defaults to the monitor's much, much worse speakers. And setting audio to the internal speakers routes it to /dev/null, I guess.
I'm starting to get annoyed with SteamOS again. The new "stable' has broken KMS(?), I can ctrl-alt-f4 to a terminal session, but I can never go back to a gamescope/kwin/friggin weston vterm.

@ivory Holding down on a picture in a timeline or thread view, and saving from there seems to be the bad path. Holding down on a picture that's fullscreened, and saving from there is okay.
@ivory Here's a fun thing for you…
Sometimes, Ivory will save something that's a PNG to Photos under the false surname of a .jpg. Once it's in the photos roll like that, it'll refuse to participate in pretty much any share-sheet action. (I did manage to get the photo out of my Photos roll via NPlayer, it comes up as a .JPG that indeed is a PNG inside).
