AI isn't "doing" anything, it's stealing the things humans already made, while simultaneously boiling the planet and handing over power to a bunch of authoritarians.
There are plenty of alternatives if you can't afford to commission an artist, Wikimedia Commons etc are full of non-AI images available free of charge under CC licence.

As for "its stealing what we made". There are no new ideas under sun. Everything is an evolution of a previous idea. Computers just have the capacity to evolve these ideas more rapidly than us.
Its here to stay. Its just another tool. How its used is what needs to be focused on. Not "DONT USE IT".
