Hundreds of children's socks bearing the names of Palestinian children killed in Israel’s genocidal war on the Gaza Strip were hung along the banks of the River Clyde in Glasgow, Scotland, as part of a symbolic memorial organized by Mothers Against Genocide Scotland.

The installation also featured the poem "Don't Mention the Children" by British author and poet Michael Rosen, whose work condemns the tendency to ignore or downplay children's suffering in war.
