    Apparently Teams has a new "interpretation" feature in meetings. I guess it translates your speech to people who turn it on?

    By default it will simulate your voice using biometric data! No thank you, I turned that shit off as soon as I saw the option. What a huge invasion of privacy.

    Fuck Microsoft and their lack of understanding of consent.

    I can't even find the setting to turn it off outside of a meeting. The only time I got a chance to disable it was when it initially told me "someone's using interpretation in this meeting", and I just happened to click the "more info" button. After that, the setting and to just be lost into the ether

    Should I just install a voice modulator on my work laptop at this point? Or is there a way to inject inaudible noise into my audio that people won't hear but will fuck with biometric fingerprinting?
