I've got news for anyone who thinks their Facebook account doesn't exist anymore...

I closed my account early (like 2012ish?). Got a stupid we are sorry to see you go email from them confirming it was done. Partner could confirm I was not listed anymore on Facebook. About 10 years later I started getting password reset attempt notifications. After a lot of these I went and logged in. Just logged in, everything is still there.

I'm now maintaining the login just to avoid identity theft.
