    @randahl this is also no surprise to me as two things are important here. Ukraine needs Patriot Block 3 to counter the missiles and exactly that one the US have never given away.

    I think that the license for Germany's Patriot Assembly plant is also not about Block 3.

    Yes, Lockheed-Martin could say yes to a deal with Ukraine but as correctly stated this is something #felon47 will not allow.

    Ukraine and the rest of Europe have a better chance inventing something homegtown.

    @El_Indifferente I fully agree. The problem is the long time frame in doing so. But the sooner we push to develop our own ballistic missile counter weapon, the more lives we save.

    @randahl as bad as it is buz Worldwar 2 starres with biplanes and ended with missiles and jets.

    What Ukraine is actually achieving with their unmanned system would have been seen as a wet dreams of the defence industry globally.

    Together with some string partners, they can make it. Maybe not as good as Patriot, which took decades to implementiert but maybe good enough.
