I should plan to go to Sainte Marie aux Mines in September. 4 hours of train is doable and that would console me for living too far from Birmingham.😂

@Filambulle I think it was a patterned brown/gold colour, but not metallic. I thought the psychedelic One Quilt Wonder technique was perfect too! They're such fun quilts to make and arrange.
@35millimetre i am curious to try it, but it has little chances to really get on top of my priorities. I content myself by watching videos by other person making them, or trying to spot the motives in the ones I see here and there (on the net, never irl sadly)
@Filambulle it can be expensive to doas well, as you need 7 copies of a panel or repeating pattern.
@Filambulle the black and white one was part of a small artists exhibition, I wish I'd taken a photo of the artist's name!
