    FREE BIKE VALET:

Ride your bike to the Fremont Festival of the Arts (fremontfestival.net/directions) and park it at the Bike Valet. This is a free bike parking service for community members. Just drop your bike, scooter, skateboard, or other personal mobility device and we’ll watch them while you enjoy the festivities.

A bike valet is important for encouraging use of personal transportation methods other than cars and local public transportation. Providing free bike parking will reduce traffic congestion and neighborhood interference.

The Bike Valet is staffed by Bike East Bay with help from Bike Fremont and is sponsored by Alameda County Supervisor David Haubert.

BIKE VALET LOCATION: Hastings Street near Capitol Avenue.

The Bike Valet, shown by the green box on the map, will be located on Hastings St. near Capitol Ave.
Recommended bike routes to the Bike Valet are shown in blue

    From Fremont BART Station:
Proceed west from the station to BART Way to Civic Center Dr. Take the bike lane to the bike path on Walnut Ave. going west to Liberty St. Take the bike lane on Liberty St. up to the Art Fair entrance at Liberty St. and walk your bike about 400 feet following signs to the bike valet.

    From north of Mowry Ave.:
Take any bike facility to Hastings St., which is a shared roadway bike route, to the bike valet.

From the south, east and west:
Use available bicycle facilities to reach the Walnut Ave. bike path. Continue to Liberty St. taking the bike lane on Liberty St. up to the Art Fair entrance at Liberty St. and walk your bike about 400 feet following signs to the bike valet.
