I feel like there is a usecase for a much simpler 3D engine that has way fewer features than the big ones in terms of graphical fidelity but is flexible enough to get started very quickly. Thinking of scripts that can be assigned to individual entities and there are several prefabs to get started with. It should run on lower-end hardware and still give very fast iteration. Should run on Mac/Linux/Windows using SDL3_gpu or Sokol.

Had a bad experience today where someone with a PhD trashed me in front of other people for making a mistake in the Computer Graphics assignments I designed for students taking the course. Then it was revealed I didn't do a mistake but everything was correct. Twice.
After that he got more silent but never apologized.
It annoys me how much power a PhD can give.
Wanna bet he didn't review all of the 30k LOC?
