#Ramping is a big issue in #SouthAustralia right now, with many ambulances queued outside Emergency departments, patients on board waiting hours for hospital beds to be freed up.

We're told that it's the Federal govt's fault bc they haven't provided enough aged care places for older patients to be moved to.

The 🐘 in the room is #covid. We're not told how many beds that's taking up, or how many more might be available if measures like masking were re-introduced.

I'd be very curious to know.
