are these crisps in the meal deal? the answer may surprise you!

Worcester Sauce-flavour crisps, some labelled "grab bag" but all in the same perspex shelf bin. Shelf edge label is e-ink, showing £1.35, £1.30 and "IN THE £4.25 MEAL DEAL". There's a cardboard label around the e-ink one saying "Meal Deal £4.25 or less"

@jackeric Y'all seem to have a lot more packaged to-go sandwiches for sale, than we do across the Pond. We tend to do something less efficient by waiting to have someone make it in front of us, with customizations. The line at the deli counter can be long.

@jackeric So I've noticed. A lot of egg salad sandwiches! I haven't had one in years, but I do like them, on long slices of toasted multigrain bakery bread.

Freshly baked bread. One unsliced loaf off to the side. In the foreground, close-up view of long slices from a wide boule of multigrain bread.

@jackeric what I find annoying is the crisps say Worcester Sauce, which I wrong. Why did Lea & Perrins allow that. Interesting the price label is then correct in saying Worcestershire Sauce.
