A new day. A new chance to succeed.

A too early morning. Muzzy and groping for clarity. I have tasks I want to do later, when the world wakes up.

In the meantime, I have my routine to follow. A simple path. Like the line in the middle of the highway on a foggy night. Surrounded by shadows. Only flashes of light in passing.

Some mornings are like this. Slow. Lethargic. Tangled in night's shadows.

But they pass into brightness eventually.
