I am content with how #today unfolded.

I put in my request to take the couple of days off next week.

I reviewed my current project plans, all is in good order for the next few days. I went ahead and crawled into a helpful, medium sized refactor, some improvement of the foundations of my SDK as part of our upcoming 2.0 release.

I am in surprisingly good shape #today after a pleasant few rounds with friends at a local meadery last night.

My $dayjob agenda is light. I am contemplating using the last of my PTO that won't rollover to make this my last work week of the year. I'll likely focus on planning how to use these few days of focus and to leave some good places to pick up work after the break.

Starforged will have to wait another week. And worth the extra time. The campaign has been so good so far, I'd prefer we skip if neither of us is fully up for a session.

I am looking forward to my Starforged session with @grueproof this afternoon, however we end up spending the time.

I didn't far on any fiction this week, nothing ready to share, even super rough. We did leave the game at an interesting point that will be fun to explore and likely spark more motivation to write this coming week.

I could have used More. Tea. #today but only had enough for one cup. Our grocery run is after lunch thankfully.

The day has already become otherwise. I spent unplanned time unpicking a couple of issues with a key piece of software needed to feed our media server. Stressful until sorted.

Our evening plans have shifted indoors. Even with bonfires, a field party well below freezing is a no go all around. We'll return to a local meadery we enjoy.

And the end was as foretold. It told us consistently this is how it would end. That's...something?

I gave up trying to make sense of any of this about ten minutes into this movie.

Sometimes you need a mental palate cleanser of sorts, I suppose. A movie so genuinely awful you appreciate the much more fun terrible movies you watch most of the rest of the time.
