All security issues have to wait. I am sorting wooden blocks 😍😍😍.
If you also want to do something amazing with your kids in #Berlin: Hamburger Bahnhof has this amazing exhibit until the start of next year.

🚀 Cybersecurity is a critical field, but sometimes we all need a break—like sorting wooden blocks. It’s easy to get lost in the tech world, but moments like these remind us to balance work with joy.
@bitboxer omg, my son would pitch a tent next to it and never leave until next year .. that’s fantastic! 🤯
@bitboxer thanks for the reminder, I didn’t know it was still open! Might need to shadow my partner’s next trip to the office..
@bitboxer real life Minecraft. (Minetest)
@tunda sadly no crafting tables
@bitboxer My Girls love your pictures and directly requested to go there tomorrow.
Sure, we only live 650 km away!

@bitboxer Have you seen the performance? It's so 💕

Does it sound as wonderful as it looks like it sounds??!?
@clew it also smells as wonderful too 🥰
@bitboxer This would have been kid me's favorite thing for the entire year
@SierraKomodo it could be grown you favorites thing, too. It’s for sure mine 🥰
@bitboxer 😲 It is like a sandbox. But you get out without dragging half of it with you.
@bitboxer I was there last week. I also enjoyed the works of Ryuchi Sakamoto. Very interesting place for a museum
@bitboxer I want to get a running start and just plow through a big pile of them.

@bitboxer How wonderful. @savethebooks
@bitboxer
I love that sometimes someone comes up with an idea for a silly thing, and then they manage to get funding for the silly thing, and they book a venue for the silly thing, and then we can all enjoy the silly thing, and then we say it's art because we don't want to admit we enjoy silly things
Can you make a tree out of the blocks
Is that real timber ?
Wow ... So many blocks
Hugz & xXx
@MelissaBearTrix real timber. 400.000 blocks. It smells amazing in there.
How many trees is that ?
What's going to happen with the bits ?
And hope you stole one ... Giggles
Hugz & xXx
Das ist nicht nur für Kinder toll. Auch ich wurde in der Ausstellung wieder zum Kind und habe lange damit gespielt... 😇
@bitboxer been there in august, its but the only thing that annoyed me was the music, not that i did. not like it but i could not escape hearing it all over the place. but still great fun.
@bitboxer I wish we’d gone when we were last there (assuming this has been around for a while and was already open in May!) 😭 won’t make it back to Berlin with the fam until next year…
@alicetragedy it sadly was and it will close on the 10th of January 😢. Ani also would love this to go on forever. This experience is way too good to just destroy it after January.
@bitboxer My brain is currently playing "Block Rockin' Beats" (1997) by The Chemical Brothers.
@bitboxer
I wonder if the terrible twin towers I build on 9/11 are still standing
@bitboxer
Anyone get a Trümmerfrauen-Feeling yet?
@bitboxer minecraft in real world , amazing!
@bitboxer ND person: get out, it's a trap!
I've been training in minecraft for years for just this moment.
FOSS traitor !
Use Minetest !
More seriously, are you aware of @Sangokuss 's work on Minetest for high school teaching ?
He's a biology teacher, but it certainly should be transposable to mathematics (and computer science, as it's possible to have logic gates in Minetest, and also to code one's actions).
@bitboxer How is it that, apparently, no one is arguing over these supposedly limited resources?
@bitboxer I think my OCD would kill me.
@bitboxer Wow what a great idea! 😮
@bitboxer Bahnhof? Is the place a former train station?
@pwassonchat yes. It was the end station of the berlin-hamburg connection. Hence the name of the thing.
Technically, it is possible to count the number of blocks in that room.
So... how many blocks are there 😺
@dianea there are 400.000 blocks. At least according to the exhibit description.
@bitboxer That is so awesome!!
@bitboxer feels like a simulation of wall.e ^^
@bitboxer Love that installation! The wood smells nice too
@bitboxer are 52 yo children allowed in there?
@mbpaz yes! And feel free to bring a 70 year old child, to.
@bitboxer @warrickball Nobody listening when I asked to tidy up the room…
@bitboxer won't this lead to more deforestation?
How have you planned for this issue?
@2003MugishaPhocit it is certified wood from reforestation projects and the wood will be construction material afterwards. They already have a plan what they will do with the wood. So this is not wasteful.
@bitboxer okay,thanks for sharing indeed.
Meanwhile, would you like to know about what I am also doing with young people in Uganda?
@bitboxer anyone scrooge mcducking in there?
@bitboxer
Just play Jenga 🤣🤣🤣
@TeddyTheBest people did that 🙂
