Seriously, does anybody actually like Adobe as a company? I know I won't pay them another penny for anything ever after being caught up in their *now illegal in the UK* practices on auto-renewing contracts; paying a fortune for software I couldn't use.
I'm watching this project with great interest, not because I actually support AI or anything created in it, but hurting Adobe's bottom line is something I do appreciate.
Oct 18, 2026, 8:00 AM@nomenloony As soon as they started to incrementally introduce subscription pay — it was something involving a shared workspace or a place in the cloud where my project lived while I worked on it or something (I honestly don’t remember) — I cut them dead from my life and located all sorts of free alternative PDF readers and editors; typesetting layout programmes (that was a tough one to locate), and photo manipulation software (far easier, that one).
When I hear the name, I think of clay homes.
