    Mastodon had its first assisted commit a few days ago! Welcome to the board, Mastodon.

    I think nixpkgs is the project I track where I search through the most commits. I go through 296,500 to find 492 labelled as assisted.

    I think rsync is the project with the largest percentage of assisted commits. It was touching 50% back in April. That project seems kind of dead.

    The same pattern of mostly assisted activity seems to apply to Deno but on a larger scale.

    Mesa had an absolutely glorious day on 7 June where someone went ham on "r600/sfn". All yellow. Every single one of the almost 60 commits labelled as assisted.

    PipeWire has the same pattern on 27 April where they seemingly did some security analysis.

    @ah It's 2026, your favourite projects either get AI-pilled or it comes to light that people in charge were fascists all along (or both!).
    It's exhausting.
