Progress made on adding the extra joists. Had this interesting thing where I noticed one of the newly installed ones was lower than the other joists. The damn thing is bowed. I flipped it, and it’s better. Too much wood is less of a problem than not enough. 👀
All joists and stringers added *just* before the rain set in. Tomorrow, weather permitting, I’m going to putty anything that needs puttying and get going on the joist tape. We’ve got weather predicted again, but perhaps it’ll hold off long enough for me to do some work.
After adding those stringers, the deck is SOLID. Zero wiggle.
