What the damn hell EU? Sometimes I feel like the global community of politicians know that an asteroid is heading our way, and therefore have decided that there’s no point in changing our filthy ways. @milesizdead Many species have become extinct in the past. Most became too specialised to survive rapid changes in the Earths environment/climate. Humans are the only species that are actually changing their environment to bring about their own extinction. Short term "economics" over long term survival - when people should be intelligent enough to understand why this is unsustainable.
But, ultimately, homo sapiens is not very sapiens.
