@fluffy I can personally vouch for 11ty; it's what I use for personal sites for both my spouse and myself, and another super-secret site which will be appearing Soon™.
Of course, it's transitioning to being called "Build Awesome" because it was bought by the Font Awesome folks, but they promise not to ever make it unfree. Promise. *shrug*
@electrickeet yeah I've heard a lot of good things about 11ty and I know a lot of indieweb folks use it.
I mostly am looking for some existing templates/tools that'll make it easy enough to maintain a static site for this federated music streaming project, and in particular all I really need is the ability to convert interlinked Markdown into a website and also pull in static assets (e.g. JSON schemas). Or maybe a thing that can automatically format JSON schemas into HTML, which isn't hard.
