    Okay how about this.

No more billionaires. None. Once you reach $999,999,999.99 if you make one penny more, we take away all your money and give it to the poor and needy and in return you get a special ID that allows you to take anything you want from any store in the country for free. A billionaire can effectively buy anything they want at any time anywhere anyway, so that changes nothing about their lifestyle. But you can no longer use your money to bribe politicians or influence the global economy. You just get to win capitalism for the rest of your life. And every penny of your money goes toward actually improving the lives of everyone else around you.

@Lana Okay how about this, too: politicians & parties are fined whenever they don't hit healthy economy & society benchmarks - eg. if tax revenue falls below the level required to provide existing services & balance the budget, income inequality increases, more people lose healthcare coverage, personal delinquencies increase, more industries monopolized - those politicians shouldn't get paid, and it should be harder for their party to win subsequent elections. We can't reward failure by choice.

@Lana Dear, my point is that it is possibly too high a number (10M€ << 1 G$). You need a systematic to address this issue. Do not know if you are familiat with the limitarist litersture (10M€ is a popular figure)

@Lana much in favour of self-regulation, once you hit a billion dollars, a worldwide sanctioned 5 million dollar bounty is automatically placed on your corpse. Collectable by anyone.
Objectively you have become a threat to humanity and all nations and must be treated as such.
Best to ensure you never ever accumulate a billion dollars.

@Lana What if they just pull themselves up by their own bootstraps and become billionaires again? 😂

@Lana No. Once you become a billionaire, you lose every money, it goes directly to the government, but you win a free therapy. People who hord so much money have a severe mental and social problem. They need help - and we need to be protected from them.

(By the way, your theory has a flaw: If the guy can get everything, he of course can still bribe. E.g., by gifting a plane to someone like the US president. Not that this has ever happened before...)
