She kept a close eye on the wind and nodded in satisfaction as a soft puff pushed the airship into the perfect position. A few moments later, the Falcon was firmly tied to the jetty, and the evacuation could begin. Captain Franzon had put her in charge of it. Quickly, Aline cut off the propellers, set the rudders to center and left her position at the steering wheel. Captain Franzon gave her a nod, and so she hurried off the bridge of the Falcon and down the stairs to the main deck of the airship to supervise the evacuation. The air wharf in Sandhurst was the oldest of the Empire, and it was practically unimaginable that it should fall into the hands of the enemy. But the war wasn’t going well, Aline could feel that in her bones.$
