Fish plates were decorated with various examples of seafood. They were invented in Athens in the 5th c. BC. Most of them are found in Southern Italy, where they were produced in the 4th c. BC.

The Moroccan geographer Mohamed Berriane just told me an amazing story:
About ten years ago, in Corsica, he talked to some Corsicans who had been hiking in the mountains in Morocco. On a high mountain slope, they encountered some bad weather and got lost. So they did what Corsicans do in that situation: they sang a specific song, which is known in Corsica as a call for help. And right away, some local Amazighs heard them and came to help them, because the Amazighs have the same song, which they use in the same way.
Mohamed thought this was fascinating and should be studied, but hasn't found anyone who's interested.

Another morning, and another kick ass story idea that just popped into my head about a trans guy who finds himself from a world where music is everything, and after decades of not ever participating in it realizes that it really resonates within him...in fact, the world feels like home.
And he wonders...could his country-singing, binge-drinking, bigot of an absent father be from there, exiled for his crimes?

My wife asked me to check her over, so I carefully checked her back. Special attention to one spot, which was just a small mole, actually, but that's how it is, right, you don't know and you can't tell and you need someone to look and be sure.
Then I copped her boobs.
She just laughed.
I'm 66, and she's 76.
There were no ticks on her boobs.

Geld... Ich würde mir genügend Geld wünschen, um nicht lohnarbeiten zu müssen und um keine existenzängste zu haben. Genügend Geld, um mich ausgewogen zu ernähren, für Hilfsmittel, die ich brauche (aber die nicht von der kk übernommen werden) und um ohne große Überlegungen Menschen (mehr als fair) bezahlen zu können, die mir Dinge abnehmen. Genügend Geld, damit ich die Zeit habe, mich ganz auf meine Kunst fokussieren zu können.
Mein zweiter Wunsch: genau das gleiche, wie oben, nur für alle menschen (die armutsbetroffen sind)
Mein Dritter wunsch: unendlich viele Wünsche, hehe >:D

Den Kapitalismus abschaffen und irgendwas in Richtung solapunkigem Gegenentwurf, die klimakriese lösen (oder sie einfach wegzaubern), Weltfrieden, und sehr viel mehr in der Richtung...

Mein erster Wunsch wäre, dass der Geist mir ehrlich, geduldig, ausführlich, bei Bedarf mehrfach und zum Mitschreiben erläutern möge, was es über dieses Wünscheerfüllen zu wissen gibt (macht er das freiwillig? Welche Tücken und Grenzen gibt es? Wie und mit welchen Folgen ist es schon genutzt worden?). Was ich mit den anderen zwei Wünschen anstelle, überlege ich mir dann, sobald ich besser informiert bin.
