I have the misfortunate to once have had to live with an extreme narcissist as a housemate during my time in university. He was standing in front of my closed door and shouted, "Come out of your room, you ugly ape, if you dare. And we'll see who is stronger."
One time I was in the shared kitchen and he came to insult me. As an emotionally mature stoic, I didn't stoop down to his level, but I was visibly shaking from the anger that I have to put up with this psycho threatening me. He then mocked me for my shaking.
Luckily the landlord kicked him out of the flat a few days later.
But yeah, you can totally be shaking from anger. This woman did very well and I hope I would do the same in her situation.
