Many of the items are expected to reach me by Tuesday, except the rack mount case, and the RAM. The case should make it by the end of next week, but the RAM is probably getting shipped from Taiwan, and I haven't been given any estimate of delivery date yet. It is "express shipping," but I wasn't told which carrier.
As I understand it, DIMM memory modules (HTS 8473.30.1140) from Taiwan are currently exempted from US import tariffs, but the carrier might still charge me a brokerage fee.
Two years ago, the price of the memory was such that it would have been covered under the US de minimis exemption, with no special handling or brokerage fee. Trump and Congress, in their wisdom, eliminated the de minimis exemption.
@brouhaha we've done it in europe too. predictably it is just hurting small sellers.
