@tante Sadly, capital G Gamers will continue to hurl money at Microsoft and Sony no matter how much anti-consumer bullshit they pull, not because they reject the idea of voting with your wallet or anything like that, but simply because they just don't care and want to keep playing all the new vidya gaems. Sony, Microsoft, every big publisher out there, they'll keep getting away with this shit and they know it. If anything, they've been emboldened with the EU's recent refusal to develop legal mandates that would improve game preservation and playability.
