    @wpisarski was asking myself the same question 😅. How bad can it be? It is only most of those things not *all* of them. And some of them are just small anxieties you have to deal with aren't they? "i don't need a diagnosis, I found ways to deal with most of them (and other stuff) most of the time" is the right answer, isn't it?
    But seriously, why should I wait years (in the worst case) to get an assessment, I already suspect and even if it isn't ADHD, it doesn't change the situation

    @realist @wpisarski I think the real answer is that you are ultimately the one in charge of your own mind and body, and if you want a diagnosis and potentially meds, you should see about that. If you do wind up getting a prescription for meds, you try them, and you pay attention to how they affect you, and you decide FOR YOURSELF whether you like the changes or not, and you make sure to find a doctor(s) who appreciates rather than fights your desire to participate in your own care.
