Well, as a backup, I went with the DLNA server, Universal Music Server. I know it is solid from back in the day with my PS3. It recognized my Blu-ray player right away, so we're in business. I can stream music as well, so that's a plus. Nothing fancy. I don't do any transcoding or anything like that: SOURCE --> LOCAL NETWORK --> PLAYER...
