🇪🇺 The #European Commission says it is now 'analysing' the #EU-#US data transfer decision, given the end of the #FTC's independence. They seem to be struggling to answer journalists' questions. We hope the #Commission will take the appropriate steps to repeal the EU-US data deal in an orderly way.

@noybeu It's funny that this is the final straw. The EU-US data deal was never safe. It always just gave trust no matter if it was earned or unearned and gave away means of judicial control

Since they saw no problem whatsoever in migrating their bluesky accounts to wsocial , I'm not holding my breath they will make an informed and sensible descision on this. 😬

I don't know who this guy is or how much say he actually has, but I wouldn't get your hopes up. A committee probably came up with that non-answer. Analyzed every word of it to make sure no answer could be gleamed from it.
