Thanks to your support and the strength of our community, we've been able to keep moving forward and now we're ready for the next step: a new October batch of 2 000 Jolla Phones.
We're grateful to share that the September batch is now fully reserved, with demand exceeding the number of products originally allocated to this batch. Now the October batch is officially open for orders.
With a €99 down payment, you can secure your own European smartphone. The October batch includes two configurations:
8 GB / 128 GB €649
12 GB / 256 GB €749

Second... the remaining is about 12000, and they will start delivery at juli 9.

@jabgoe2089 For obvious reasons. One sells 50.000.000 devices every three months. The other sells 20.000 in 12 months.

@Søren Ladegaard so they should stop because apple sells more? or people should stop buying this because apple sells more? when i buy a phone by apple, will it be apple-free? or google-free?

@jabgoe2089 That's not what I am saying.
I use /e/os myself on a Fairphone. And Linux on my laptop.
But for eg. the Danish government to create apps for a third system they need a user base bigger than 0.1%. That's all I am saying. And I wonder when - if ever - /e/os or Sailfish will reach that level?
