Just got a copy of the union magazine, and they clearly mention a "learning crisis" that I also see in my own workplace: declining attendance, a flipped balance where students spend more time in "side jobs", and the impact of AI meaning that students really learn less … but somehow the magazine "buries the lede" by only making the title about "empty lecture halls".
